The TB-1648 Forge Premium Evercut collection comprises kitchen knives featuring Evercut® technology, developed in partnership with the CEA. The blade is made of Nitrox steel (56 HRC) onto which a titanium carbide edge is laser-fused at over 4,000°C. This titanium carbide edge, with a hardness of 2,800 HV, is 300 to 400 times more wear-resistant than conventional cutlery steel. The sharpness is guaranteed for life by TB-1648. Performance has been measured and certified by CATRA (Cutlery and Allied Trades Research Association), an international benchmark for blade evaluation. The handles are made of black POM, a technical material resistant to impact and thermal variations. Manufactured in Thiers (Puy-de-Dôme) by GDD (Générale de Découpage), an industrial subsidiary of TB-1648, from raw steel to finished product. Prices: €89 to €249.
